These peas are excellent for fresh eating, freezing, canning or cooking. The short bush stands 70cm (28") and produces heavy yields of dark green pods to 11cm.

Plant in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked and sow again mid July for a fall crop. The success of a fall crop will depend on the weather. Plant 2.5cm (1") deep, 2-7cm (1-3"). Seeds sprout in 7-14 days.

  • Optimal soil temperature is between 10-20°C
  • Space plants 15cm (6") apart
  • Matures in 62-70 days
  • The smaller the bean, the more tender they are
  • Only presoak the seeds if you have dry soils
