This great tasting heirloom spinach has thick, dark green crumpled leaves that are very sweet. As a cool season crop, it is best to plant in early spring or fall (plants sown in the fall will come up earlyin the spring, even in Alberta!)

Sow seeds 1cm (1/2") deep, 10 seeds per 30cm (12") in rows 30-45cm (12-18") apart.
In the fall, cut the spinach at ground level and the following spring, enjoy an early harvest
