Bloomsdale Savoy

This great tasting heirloom spinach has thick, dark green crumpled leaves that are very sweet. As a cool season crop, it is best to plant in early spring or fall (plants sown in the fall will come up earlyin the spring, even in Alberta!)

  • Cool season
  • Full sun to part shade
  • Zone 2-10
  • Matures in 50 days
  • Repeat sowing every 3 weeks for a continual supply
  • Sow seeds 1cm (1/2") deep, 10 seeds per 30cm (12") in rows 30-45cm (12-18") apart.
  • In the fall, cut the spinach at ground level and the following spring, enjoy an early harvest
