Little Marvel

This early producing heirloom pea is perfect for container gardening if you're tight on space! The little marvel is a stocky, semi-dwarf bush from 30-45cm (12-18") tall. The pods produced are 8-10cm (3-4") with 6-7 peas.

Growing

Plant in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked or in a container. Once the first harvest is done, cut back and plant a nitrogen loving plant. Seeds sprout in 7-14 days. Sow seeds 2-5cm (1-2") deep spacing 2-7cm (1-3") apart in the row.

• Optimal soil temperature is between 10-20°C
• Space plants 15cm (6") apart
• Matures in 62 days
• The smaller the bean, the more tender they are
• Only pre-soak the seeds if you have dry soils
